Shipping books for charities...

I know there was a post on the forum about this before but i was wondering if any one knows anything about shipping used books for schools and children's charities to Nepal. I have a LARGE number of books which need shipping but the cost by Australia Post is prohibitive (about $50 a kilo). If anyone has any hints on cheaper options i'd really appreciate it.

Secondly if any one knows of a deserving school which could use some children's books in english please let me know because we are looking for some extra places to send used books.
