Hi Alecia,
No I couldn't get a visa. I got booted out but hopefully when I return in January I will be able to get my marriage paperwork completed and then get a marriage visa. If you are hoping to get a visa make sure you do it in plenty of time. I tried to do it three months early and it wasn't long enough to deal with all the red tape!
