Scams, safety and other stuff

I have found Nepal t o be pretty safe. I've never had any problems but I get scammed every time I come to Nepal. I don't actually mind, I find it a bit of a game trying to avoid paying 5 times the local price or going the long way in a taxi. My KTM Favorites

Many travelers take Kathmandu at a sprinting pace. I can understand. I'm from Pokhara, generally I try only spend a day in KTM at a time. KTM is a big dirty, scary city and the rest of Nepal is relaxed and beautiful. Why would you hang around, right?
