Hello all
A friend and I is going to Nepal around the 25. of December. We're going to trek in 10-14 days, where should we go? Would it be best to divide days into several trips or should we take a long trek? There are many question, I really hope you can help answer some of the questions;-)
Kind regards
Thor Underbjerg

Hi namaste!
I can recommend you the Annapurna region : you start at Pokhara, wonderful city at Fewa Lakeside; you have a lot of choice of trekkings there! for example Annapurna basecamp or the royal trek; If you want a very good guide/porter to help you, then contact my Nepali friend Shiva Kumar; http://www.trekshangrila.com/; i have an old blog about visiting Nepal http://www.trekshangrila.com/
Enjoy your stay in Nepal! Johan
Even though December is mid-winter, people still go trekking. Like above posters said, you can't go to high altitude passes. But there are several treks like Langtang Trek 8 days from kathmandu, Ghorepani trek 10 days from Kathmandu. You can still do trekking in the foothills of the Himalaya.
You can also fly to Jomsom and trek to Muktinath and then down to tatopani (hot spring), climb up to Ghorepani and back to Pokhara. This will take about 12 days from Kathmandu.
If your in need of a guide i can highly recommend Ram Prasad Magar.
